Bayard's offices are closed today in honor of Juneteenth, the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the abolition of slavery in the United States. This month, we spoke to Bobby Smith, a Lead Media Specialist in the Nashville office! Here’s everything we learned about Bobby:
1. He’s been with Bayard for 1 year and 2 months.
2. He has two dogs named Fleetwood and Stevie after the band Fleetwood Mac.
2. Bobby was Chapter President of his fraternity, the Gamma Mu Chapter of Zeta Beta Tau, in college.
3. In his free time, he’s normally at the dog park or playing video games.
4. His favorite part about working at Bayard is the “company culture and team members. Every single one of my colleagues in Nashville has a piece of my heart. They've not only helped me grow, but pushed me to overcome new challenges each and every single day. They make every bit of the work worth it.”

This month's featured employee is Leslie Chacon, an Account Manager out of our Nashville office. Here's what we learned about Leslie (and why she loves Bayard)!
"One of my favorite things to do is to go on hikes, especially living in Nashville, we have a lot of options and the weather mostly cooperates. I am planning to go on a hike to the Virgin Falls State Natural Area in Sparta just a few hours from Nashville over the summer and although it is considered a moderately tough four-mile hike, I am excited for the challenge and to enjoy nature."
Why I <3 Bayard: "I've enjoyed my time here at Bayard so much, from the welcoming vibe everyone has, to the fact that we make a difference in helping people get jobs, makes my job feel fulfilling every day. My favorite part is knowing that upper leadership is committed to seeing you succeed and will take a personalized approach to help you get there. The opportunities for internal growth are great within the agency, and I appreciate knowing that my managers have my back."

This week, we're putting the spotlight on Amber Littleton. After starting out as an Account Manager in 2016, Amber was able to climb the ranks to become our Managing Director of Operations at the beginning of this year. Congratulations, Amber, and thank you for all you do for Bayard!
